She was many things to many people.
To her husband of 55 years; Lawrence Cason, Anita was a best friend, partner, and caregiver.
To her son, Lawrence Sidney Cason (Inga) – mom was a supporter and an anchor.
To her grandson, Keenan Cason (Naj) – grandma was EVERYTHING! A giver, a second mom, a listening ear, a provider, a caregiver, a safe haven and the glue that held the family together.
To her loving sisters, Shelia E Fair and Brenda (Ron) Grinston – ‘Nita’ was the completion of their sister circle.
To her special friends : Angela Simmons, Rheda Boyd, Joanne Phillip Wilson, and Ronda Whitmire – Anita was a gem who shined bright.
Anita accepted the Lord as her personal savior at a young age at Second Baptist Church where she also taught youth Sunday school and Bible study . In 1985 she joined New Salem Missionary Baptist Church where she served in various ministries including the serving for Vacation Bible School with her best friend Angela Simmons.
